Doctor in specialist training in medical microbiology and virology

We are looking for a motivated and committed employee to support our team.

Location: Institute of Virology
Level of employment: 40 hours/week
Start and duration: With immediate effect, until completion of specialist training, but for a maximum of 7 years

Your area of responsibility

  • Work in microbiological/virological diagnostics and clinical/virological research
  • Medical activity, research, teaching and administration
  • Basic training in accordance with Section 6a of the Medical Practitioners Act 1998 and Section 6 of the Medical Training Regulations 2015 (ÄAO2015) is integrated into specialist training where necessary

We look forward to

  • Completed medical studies; ideally the basic training has already been successfully completed
  • Willingness to participate in research and teaching
  • Interest in infection medicine and the associated research topics
  • Previous medical experience in training as a medical specialist desired

For the intended job group B1, GH 1, the annual basic salary currently amounts to € 55,566.98 gross for a 40-hour week and may be increased on the basis of the collective agreement regulations through the recognition of job-specific previous experience and other remuneration components associated with the special features of the job.
