Prof. Dr. Gisa Gerold Elected to the GfV Advisory Board
Following her term on the board of the Society for Virology (GfV), during which she initiated a collaboration with the Swedish Society for Virology, Prof. Dr. Gisa Gerold has been elected to the GfV Advisory Board. Her new term will span three years.
About the GfV:
The Society for Virology (GfV) is a non-profit academic society with around 1,000 members, dedicated to promoting virology across all its disciplines in German-speaking countries. Founded in 1990, it is today the largest virological specialist society in Europe. Its mission is to advance research, education, and professional training through scientific conferences, publication support, and cooperation with national and international scientific societies. The Advisory Board supports the executive board in shaping the strategic direction of the society.
